Our Story
On a sweltering day in Cairo, a power outage struck, endangering Ashraf’s grandfather, Tawfik, who relied on a ventilator. Fearing for Tawfik’s life, Ashraf, inspired by renewable energy and his father’s teachings, devised “Poder” power tiles. After relentless experimentation, he created a prototype that generated electricity from footsteps.
With excitement, Ashraf installed the tiles at his grandfather’s home. As he walked on them, a faint glow indicated electricity generation, reviving Tawfik’s ventilator. Poder power tiles were swiftly adopted in hospitals, schools, and homes across Egypt, offering a sustainable and reliable electricity source.
